Our New Mission Statement!
The sole purpose of
Hooptown Basketball program is to promote the interest in
the growth of youth basketball in a fun , positive
atmosphere, where winning is not the main focus, but
building a foundation that offers a safe and positive
environment.
SPORTSMANSHIP
It is the obligation of
Hooptown Basketball board of directors, coaches, players and
volunteers to perform the highest principles of
sportsmanship and to observe the ethics of competition
during our summer league. Good sportsmanship is defined as
qualities of behavior which are characterized by courtesy
and genuine concern for others. Hooptown Basketball will
award and acknowledge the individuals for their commitment
to fair play, ethical behavior and integrity.
